Three ways to pick pages

The line under the buttons tells you how many pages will be removed and how many will be left before you download, and the new PDF is rebuilt automatically after every change.

Remove blank pages in one click

Scanned documents pick up blank pages: the backs of single-sided sheets fed through a duplex scanner, separator sheets, an empty last page. Blank pages checks every page and selects the ones that are almost entirely white, which is far quicker than scrolling through a 200-page scan. A page with only a faint header or a tiny page number can count as blank, so give the selection a glance before downloading.

Delete pages, or keep only the ones you want

Sometimes it is easier to pick what stays. Switch to Keep only selected pages to pull the three signed pages out of a 40-page contract, or save one chapter of a report on its own. Selected pages turn green and everything else is left out. The download is named -extracted.pdf in this mode and -pages-removed.pdf when deleting, so neither is confused with the original.

Deleted means deleted

Some PDF editors "delete" a page by taking it out of the page list while its contents stay inside the file, where anyone with the right software can pull them back out. That matters when the page you are removing shows an account number, a medical result or a signature. This tool builds a brand-new PDF from the pages you keep, so the text and images of removed pages are not in the downloaded file at all.

Deleting pages does not hide anything on the pages you keep. If a remaining page contains details you need to black out, that is a job for redaction, not page deletion.

Bookmarks and links keep working

The new PDF keeps the original bookmarks, pointing at the same pages in their new positions. Bookmarks for pages you removed are dropped, and any bookmarks nested under them move up a level instead of disappearing. Links between the remaining pages still work, a link to a deleted page simply does nothing, and the document's title and author are kept. Fillable form fields become ordinary page content in the new file, so fill in forms before removing pages.

On a Mac? Preview can do it too

If you are on a Mac and prefer a built-in app, open the PDF in Preview, choose View > Thumbnails, select pages in the sidebar and press Delete, then use File > Export as PDF to save a copy and leave the original untouched. No sign-in, no page limit
